I’m Mark Guiterrez, founder of MindShift Mark.
For the past six years I’ve paired a passion for brand consistency, high quality work and strategic business sense that has led me to become one of VHT’s most sought out visual branding partners and educators. But that isn’t where my journey started.
As a real estate photographer, I’ve captured the irresistible architectural details of more than 12,000 homes in Illinois. I’ve worked with realtors across the state to transform properties into possibilities, and that’s where my passion for building more than a brand began.
Not long into my career I noticed a fundamental flaw in the industry. Real estate agents, photographers and photography students were undermining their worth because of the way they were showing up for their clients. Early in my career I was doing this same thing.
As I evaluated and adjusted the ways I was showing up in my business I learned that there’s no sense in having lofty aspirations if you don’t have the mindset to match.
Through brand consistency, creating differentiation in my business and adding value to the client relationship I was able to completely transform my business and become an irreplaceable and valued visual partner to my clients.
I started a mentorship program within my own real estate media supplier to share my business knowledge with others in my industry. That’s when I saw tremendous growth and the tapping into huge potential in many of VHT’s photographers.
